Never miss a follow-up with tasks and Start my day
Turn every promise into a task with a due time, then clear your day one item at a time.
Updated
A follow-up that isn't written down gets forgotten. Tasks hold every call back, check-in and to-do with a due time, and Start my day walks you through what's due, one card at a time.
Add a task
- Press T on any page, or New task on Tasks. Say What needs to happen?, pick when it's Due (Today, Tomorrow, In 3 days, Next week, No date or Pick date & time) and who it's Assigned to. Presets are due at 9:00 AM.
- On the Tasks page, type into the quick-add line, like "Call Priya tomorrow 2pm". The date is picked up as you type and shown before you press Enter. You can link it to a lead too.
- On a lead's page, press Task. Or, when you log a note, call, text or email, pick a follow-up under the box: Tomorrow, In 3 days, Next week or Pick date.
- After a call, the wrap-up suggests a follow-up task for you.
Work your list
The views across the top of Tasks:
- Focus: what's overdue and what's due today, with what's coming up underneath.
- Upcoming: the next two weeks, day by day, then later.
- All open and Done.
The numbers under the header (Overdue, Due today, Next 7 days, Done today) open the view they count.
- 1. Click the circle beside a task to finish it, or highlight it with J and K and press E. Shift E reopens a done task. Every change offers Undo.
- 2. Open a task with Enter to change its title, time, lead or notes. Changes save as you make them.
- 3. Push a task out with snooze: Later today, Tomorrow, This weekend, Next week or a date. With several tasks overdue, Reschedule all moves them at once.
- 4. Select several with X (Shift X selects a range) or Shift-click, and a bar appears at the bottom: Done, Reschedule, Assign and Delete. E finishes everything selected, and Esc clears the selection.
Owners, admins and managers can switch from My tasks to Everyone, or one teammate, to see who's behind.
Start my day
Press Start my day on the dashboard or the Tasks page, or F anywhere. It opens a full-screen queue, in this order:
- 1. Today's appointments.
- 2. Your new leads from the last week that nobody has called, texted or emailed yet.
- 3. Overdue tasks, then today's.
Each card has the lead's details and the buttons you need:
- Call (C) calls through the app; the wrap-up logs it.
- Text (T) and Email (M) open a small composer that sends from your business number and address. Sending logs the touch on the lead, so there's nothing else to log, and a new lead moves on to the next card. A note you typed on the card is saved as a note.
- Done (E, or D) finishes a task. For an appointment that has started, it's Attended (E), or press No-show.
- Tomorrow (S) snoozes a task to tomorrow.
- Skip (the right arrow) moves on; the left arrow goes back.
Clear the queue and you get a small celebration. Esc leaves at any time.
Tip: Overdue tasks also show in the bell at the top of the page, so nothing slips while you're busy elsewhere.
