Keyboard shortcuts that save time
Search, jump between pages and work through lists without reaching for the mouse.
Updated
Most of ControlLaunchPad works from the keyboard. Press ? on any page to see the shortcuts sheet. Single-key shortcuts stand aside while you're typing in a box, and while a dialog or menu is open.
Search and act
- Ctrl K (Cmd K on a Mac) opens search: leads, pages, actions and requests. Type a question like "Which leads went cold this week?" and on Pro and up it answers too (AI reports).
- / opens the same search with one key.
- N new lead.
- T new task.
- F Start my day.
Jump to a page
Press G, then a letter:
- D Dashboard, I Inbox, Q Client requests, R Reports
- L Leads, P Pipeline, T Tasks, C Calendar
- O Forms, M Team, B Billing, H Support (your chats with the ControlLaunchPad team)
Change the view
- M turns Midnight mode on or off.
- The left bracket key,
[, collapses or expands the sidebar.
Lists
Leads: J and K (or the arrow keys) move, Enter opens the lead, X selects it, Esc steps back.
Tasks: J and K move, E marks the task done (Shift E reopens one that's done), X selects it (Shift X selects a range), Enter opens it. With tasks selected, E finishes them all, and Esc clears the selection.
Inbox: J and K move, Enter or O opens, R replies, E marks done (Shift E reopens), S snoozes, A assigns, U marks read or unread, X selects (Shift X selects a range).
Client requests: J and K move, Enter opens, X selects, A assigns. On a request, R replies, I writes an internal note and E solves (Shift E reopens).
A lead's page: J and K go to the next or previous lead from the list you came from, and C calls the lead.
Calendar: the left and right arrow keys move a day or a week.
Start my day
C call, T text, M email, E done (or attended, for an appointment; D works too), S snooze to tomorrow, the right arrow or N skips, the left arrow or B goes back, Esc leaves.
While writing
- In the inbox, Enter sends a text or a note and Ctrl Enter sends an email. Type / at the start of a line or after a space to pick a saved reply. Alt 1 to 3 picks a suggested reply. Esc lets go of the box so the inbox keys work again.
- On a lead's page and in the quick composer that Text and Email open (from a lead row, a pipeline card, search or Start my day), the same rule applies: Enter sends a text or logs what you wrote, Shift Enter starts a new line, and Ctrl Enter sends an email. Esc closes the quick composer; what you typed is kept for next time.
- After a call, Ctrl Enter saves the wrap-up. During a call, Esc makes the call bar smaller.
- In the form, booking page, campaign and availability editors, Ctrl S saves.
Tip: Forgot one? Open search with Ctrl K: pages and actions show their keys beside them.
